Robes

A robe is the first and last piece of the day. For women: the long belted lace robe, the lace-sleeve robe and four feather-trim chiffon robes that come as sets with a nightdress. For men: the knee-length shawl-collar robe with two patch pockets. And in between, a light kimono.

Silk robes

The lace robe, the kimono and the men's shawl-collar robe are silk. A silk robe feels light, falls without wrapping the body when belted and moves with the nightdress beneath. The lace-sleeve robe and the feather-trim chiffon robes are not silk.

Lace robe

Long and belted, with lace only at the cuff. Powder, ecru, red, ice blue and khaki — the same five colours as the long lace nightdress. Worn together, the lace repeats in the same tone and robe and nightdress read as one piece.

Lace-sleeve robe

Black, long and belted — this time the lace runs the full length of the sleeve. The body stays plain, so whatever you wear beneath, the weight sits in the sleeves.

Feather-trim robes

Our feather-trim robes are chiffon, with feathers at the cuffs — never in the way. Long and short lengths are sold as sets with a nightdress: long robes in the guipure and printed sets, a short robe in the short set and a polka-dot robe in the polka-dot set. See them all on Bridal & Trousseau.

Kimono

A belted, below-the-knee kimono: over the slip dress, next to the coffee. Lighter than a robe, it moves from breakfast to evening, from the living room to the balcony. Khaki, powder and black; two sizes, S/M and L/XL.

Men's robe

The shawl-collar robe is knee-length, with full-length sleeves, two patch pockets and a belt. 2 mm piping on the shawl collar, cuffs and pocket edges: off-white on dark colours, black on off-white. Five colours — black, anthracite, burgundy, khaki and off-white — in sizes S–XL. Also available as a 3-piece lounge set with shorts and trousers; all men's pieces are on Men.

Robe or kimono?

A robe is longer and more covering, worn over a nightdress or pyjamas — for winter and morning coffee. A kimono is lighter and straight-cut; over a slip dress or a shorts set it goes out to the balcony and terrace too.

Care

Every order includes a care card, and the label always comes first. The general rule from our care guide: wash inside out at 30°C, by hand or in a mesh bag on a delicate cycle, with a gentle detergent; no bleach, no softener, no wringing. Roll in a towel to remove water and dry in the shade. If you iron, iron inside out on low heat.

Packaging

Every order arrives in our ritual packaging: a printed box, a dust bag, a seal and a care card. Orders of 3 pieces or more come in the cream signature box at no cost; for 1–2 pieces you can add a gift box in the cart and have your note handwritten on the card inside.

Which sizes does the men's robe come in?

S, M, L and XL. The shorts and trousers in the lounge set go up to XXL.

Are there matching robes for couples?

How do I wash a feather-trim robe?

Follow the label. The general rule: inside out, at 30°C, by hand, with a gentle detergent; do not rub or wring the feather cuffs, and dry in the shade.
